Escape of water is one of the most common home insurance claims, and it usually happens when nobody is looking. We fit small leak detectors wherever water likes to hide, and a motorised valve on the incoming main. Water where it should not be? The valve closes and your phone tells you which room.

Leak detection & water shut-off: what people ask.
Will it shut the water off by mistake?
Only if a detector actually gets wet. If it was a false start, such as a spilled glass, you can reopen the valve from your phone in seconds.
Does the valve need a plumber?
It goes on your incoming main, so yes, it is plumbing work. We coordinate that as part of the installation.
Can I add leak detection to my existing alarm?
If your current system is compatible, often yes. If not, leak detection and shut-off can run on their own.
