Commercial fire alarms · EN 54
Commercial fire alarms, without the chaos of a rewire.
Pulling fire alarm cable through a working shop, a listed building or a busy office is slow, messy and expensive. We install wireless fire systems built from EN 54-certified detectors, call points and sounders, so you can stay open while we work.
The difference
The usual way, and ours.
- Installation
- The usual alarm: Weeks of cabling, ceilings up, rooms closed.
- Our way: Wireless devices fitted with minimal disruption.
- Finding a fault
- The usual alarm: Walk the building with a ladder.
- Our way: Every device reports its status, battery and signal by name.
- Changes later
- The usual alarm: A new cable run for every move.
- Our way: Add or move devices without touching the walls.
What you get
Commercial fire (EN 54), done properly.
- 01
EN 54-certified devices
Smoke and heat detectors, manual call points, sounders and visual alarm devices built and certified for commercial fire detection.
- 02
Made for awkward buildings
Listed and historic buildings, holiday parks, shops, offices, schools, surgeries and temporary sites: anywhere cable is costly or unwelcome.
- 03
Every device accounted for
Each device has a name and a location, so an alarm or a fault points straight to the right room instead of a zone on a panel.
- 04
Built around your fire risk assessment
We design from your fire risk assessment and agree the type of system with you and your responsible person before anything goes on the wall.
- 05
Works with your security
Fire and intruder systems can share alerts and work together while staying independent where they need to be.
- 06
Looked after
Servicing and testing, with a log of events and tests to help keep your fire logbook straight.
How we work
From first chat to handover.
- 1
A proper conversation
You tell us what worries you, how you live and what you already have. We ask annoying questions about side gates and spare keys.
- 2
A look at the property
We walk it the way a burglar, a fire or a burst pipe would, and plan coverage, wiring and where everything goes.
- 3
Fitted tidily
Wireless where it saves your walls, wired where it makes sense. Dust sheets down, cables hidden, everything tested.
- 4
Handed over, then looked after
We set up the app with you, show everyone how it works and stay on the end of the phone afterwards.
Questions
Commercial fire (EN 54): what people ask.
Is a wireless fire alarm as reliable as a wired one?
The devices are certified to the same EN 54 standards, and every one is supervised: if a device goes missing, loses signal or runs low, the panel raises a fault rather than leaving a silent gap.
Can you fit fire alarms in a listed building?
Yes, and it is one of the best uses for wireless. Far fewer cable runs means far less impact on the building’s historic fabric.
Can you service an existing fire alarm?
Tell us what you have. Depending on the system we can service it, extend it with wireless devices or plan a staged replacement.
