Intruder alarms
An alarm that meets trouble at the gate.
Most burglar alarms are built to notice a break-in. Ours are built to stop one getting that far. We design layered protection, garden first, then doors and windows, then inside, so you know about trouble while it is still outside, with a photo to show you what it is.
The difference
The usual way, and ours.
- Where it starts
- The usual alarm: At the door or window, once it is already open.
- Our way: On the drive and in the garden, with outdoor detectors and cameras.
- What you get
- The usual alarm: A siren and a zone number.
- Our way: A phone alert with the room, the time and a photo.
- If someone jams it
- The usual alarm: Nothing. It never knew.
- Our way: It notices, hops frequency and tells you it is being tampered with.
What you get
Intruder alarms, done properly.
- 01
Outdoor detection
Weatherproof detectors tuned to ignore foxes, deer and the neighbour’s cat, so the garden becomes your early warning rather than your blind spot.
- 02
Photo-verified alarms
Motion detectors with a built-in camera send photos with the alarm, so you can tell a burglar from a balloon in seconds rather than driving home to find out.
- 03
Two-way, encrypted radio
Every detector confirms its alarm was received and keeps checking in. Block the signal and the system treats it as sabotage instead of going quiet.
- 04
Wired, where it makes sense
On new builds and big refurbishments we can run a single digital bus cable that powers and talks to every device, laid in a ring that keeps working if a cable is cut.
- 05
Backup on backup
Mains and battery, broadband, Wi-Fi and mobile data. Pull one plug and it carries on, then tells you which one went.
- 06
Grade 2 and Grade 3
Domestic systems to EN 50131 Grade 2, with Grade 3 equipment available where insurers or higher-risk properties ask for it.
How we work
From first chat to handover.
- 1
A proper conversation
You tell us what worries you, how you live and what you already have. We ask annoying questions about side gates and spare keys.
- 2
A look at the property
We walk it the way a burglar, a fire or a burst pipe would, and plan coverage, wiring and where everything goes.
- 3
Fitted tidily
Wireless where it saves your walls, wired where it makes sense. Dust sheets down, cables hidden, everything tested.
- 4
Handed over, then looked after
We set up the app with you, show everyone how it works and stay on the end of the phone afterwards.
Questions
Intruder alarms: what people ask.
Will a wireless alarm work in an old house with thick walls?
Usually, yes. The radio we use carries a long way and we plan coverage on the survey, adding a range extender where walls are thick. Where wireless is not the right answer, we run cable instead.
Will my dog set it off?
Indoor detectors can be set to ignore pets up to a certain size, and outdoor detectors are tuned to the space they watch. We set the system up around your animals, not the other way round.
Who gets told when the alarm goes off?
You do, straight away, along with anyone else you add: family, a neighbour or a keyholder. Alerts come through the app with the room, the time and photos where fitted. We do not run a monitoring centre.
Can you take over an alarm someone else installed?
Yes. If your current system is unreliable, out of support or the installer has stopped answering, we can survey it and either put it right or replace it, keeping whatever is worth keeping.
